Techno-Commercial Engineer

Job Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic and solution-oriented Techno-Commercial Engineer to bridge the gap between technical engineering and business development. This role involves technical pre-sales, customer consultations, proposal preparation, cost estimation, and post-sales coordination. The ideal candidate will possess a strong engineering foundation along with the commercial acumen to offer customized solutions that meet client needs and business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Pre-Sales & Solution Design:

Understand client technical requirements and recommend suitable engineering solutions and technologies. Prepare product proposals, cost-benefit analysis, and detailed quotations. Design and customize components (fixtures, jigs, prototypes) optimized for performance and manufacturability. Conduct feasibility studies using engineering tools and standards (e.g., DfAM principles).
Client Communication & Relationship Management:

Serve as a technical point of contact for both domestic and international clients. Manage key accounts, conduct product presentations, and handle objections effectively. Support cross-selling and upselling based on client needs and usage data.
Costing & Proposal Generation:

Estimate project costs, raw material requirements, and lead times. Prepare techno-commercial proposals aligned with ISO and AS9100D standards. Coordinate with sourcing, design, and production teams for accurate delivery terms and pricing.
Project Execution & Support:

Track project progress and ensure timely delivery of solutions. Provide post-sales technical support, feedback resolution, and modification support as needed. Maintain CRM records, client pipelines, and report forecasts to the business development team.
Tools & Software Expertise:

CAD and design tools: SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Rhino 3D, AutoCAD, Magics CRM & Proposal Management Systems Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools
Core Skills:

Technical Pre-Sales & Consultative Selling Proposal & Quotation Preparation Cost Estimation & ROI Analysis Cross-Functional Team Collaboration Client Communication & Relationship Management Design for Additive Manufacturing (DfAM) ISO 9001 & AS9100D Compliance Understanding
Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field. 2-5 years of experience in a techno-commercial or applications engineering role. Prior experience in additive manufacturing, product design, or industrial solutions preferred. Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
Preferred:

Experience with clients in sectors like aerospace, automotive, medical devices, or capital equipment. Ability to manage multiple projects with precision and professionalism.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
