Key Responsibilities 1. New Customer Acquisition & Engagement o Identify and target prospective clients through research, networking, industry events, and lead generation. o Build strong relationships with CXOs, plant heads, engineers, procurement professionals, and decision-makers. o Understand customer pain points and propose customized automation and robotics solutions. o Deliver compelling technical & commercial presentations, product demos, and value based proposals. o Drive the complete sales cycle - from prospecting, requirement gathering, and solution design to proposal submission, negotiation, and PO closure. o Consistently achieve new customer acquisition targets and sales revenue goals. 2. Channel Partner Development o Recruit, onboard, and develop channel partners, distributors, and system integrators in key geographies. o Provide sales enablement, technical training, and marketing support to partners. o Establish KPIs, monitor partner performance, and drive joint sales planning. o Strengthen partner loyalty and ensure long-term win-win collaboration. 3. Account Management o Nurture long-term relationships with existing clients to maximize customer satisfaction and repeat business. o Develop upselling and cross-selling strategies for advanced robotics and IIoT solutions. o Lead contract negotiations and ensure seamless order-to-delivery execution. 4. Market & Industry Expertise o Stay updated on latest trends in robotics, smart manufacturing, and Industry 4.0. o Map customer needs against industry-specific challenges across: o Automotive & Electronics o Medical Devices & Pharmaceuticals o Food & Beverage Processing o Aviation & Aerospace o Heavy Machinery & Industrial Equipment o Translate technical features into clear business value propositions. 5. Collaboration & Reporting o Work closely with engineering, solution architects, marketing, and support teams to deliver customer success. o Maintain accurate sales pipeline, forecasting, and reporting in CRM tools. o Provide market intelligence and competitor insights to management. Qualifications o Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related technical field. (MBA preferred.) o Minimum 3+ years of sales/business development experience in robotics, industrial automation, or IIoT. o Demonstrated success in acquiring and managing customers in at least 3 industries mentioned above. o Proven track record of PO closures and achieving sales quotas. o Experience in channel sales and indirect sales networks. o Strong knowledge of robotics (collaborative/industrial), PLCs, motion control, sensors, and system integration. o Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. o Willingness to travel extensively (domestic & international). Preferred Skills o Familiarity with Industry 4.0, smart factories, and IoT-enabled automation. o Proficiency in CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar). o Multilingual skills for engaging with global partners & customers.
