Profile - Techno- Commercial Sale and Marketing Manager



Qualification

- B.Tech / Diploma - mech.

Experience - Min. 15+ yrs. in Marketing Industrial products (preferably Mechanical) to Steel, Sponge Iron, Petrochemical & Fertilizer Plants, foundry / casting industry

Age Limit

- min. 40

Note

- Candidate should have the ability to read Technical drawings.

Candidate should be willing to travel 7-10 days a month to Cement Plants & other Plants.

A Techno-Commercial Sales & Marketing professional in the steel castings / foundry industry bridges the gap between technical expertise and commercial acumen. They are responsible for understanding customer requirements, providing technical solutions, promoting foundry products, managing client relationships, driving sales growth, and ensuring profitability while coordinating with production, quality, and design teams.

1. Sales & Marketing



Identify new business opportunities in domestic and international markets for steel castings.
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business targets.
Prepare and deliver technical presentations to customers, explaining product capabilities.
Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, and contracts with clients.
Handle customer inquiries, quotations, and order follow-ups.
Participate in exhibitions, trade fairs, and industry networking events.

2. Technical & Product Knowledge



Understand technical requirements of customers related to steel castings (grades, heat treatment, machining, etc.).
Coordinate with design/production teams to provide feasible solutions.
Support customers in selecting the right casting products for their applications.
Review customer drawings/specifications and suggest cost-effective alternatives.
Provide feedback to the R&D and production team for product improvements.

3. Customer Relationship Management



Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with OEMs, EPC contractors, and end-users.
Act as a single point of contact between the client and internal departments.
Ensure high customer satisfaction by timely addressing technical and commercial issues.
Conduct regular customer visits for business development and retention.

4. Commercial & Costing



Prepare cost estimates, RFQs, and techno-commercial offers.
Analyze casting manufacturing costs (raw material, molding, machining, heat treatment, etc.).
Ensure profitability while maintaining competitiveness in pricing.
Support management in tender/bid preparation.
Monitor payment collections, credit control, and contract terms compliance.

5. Coordination with Internal Teams



Work closely with the foundry production, quality, and design teams to ensure order execution.
Track delivery schedules and update customers proactively.
Coordinate with quality assurance for inspection and approval processes.
Ensure timely dispatches and resolve supply chain bottlenecks.
