Role Overview:

The Industrial Research Fellow (IRF) will actively contribute to the institute's research initiatives across disciplines such as Microbiology, Biotechnology, Botany, and Zoology. The fellow will be involved in experimental work, data analysis, report preparation, and supporting academic and research-oriented activities of the institution.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct laboratory and/or field-based research in the relevant life science domain. Collect, analyze, and interpret experimental and observational data. Assist in writing research proposals, technical reports, and scientific publications. Participate in interdisciplinary projects and support institutional research objectives. Ensure maintenance of lab equipment, consumables, and proper lab safety practices. Engage in academic activities like seminars, workshops, and training programs. Support faculty in organizing and executing research and development projects.

Eligibility Criteria:

M.Sc. in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Botany, or Zoology from a recognized university. Candidates with a strong academic background and research exposure will be preferred.

Desirable:

Prior research/project work in the relevant domain. Familiarity with laboratory instruments and basic research methodologies.

Skills Required:

Sound knowledge of theoretical and practical concepts in respective subject areas. Laboratory skills including sample preparation, culturing, microscopy, molecular techniques, etc. Good scientific writing and documentation ability. Proficiency in computer applications such as MS Office, statistical or research tools. Team-oriented with a proactive and disciplined approach to work.
