The candidate will work closely with multidisciplinary engineering, quality, and construction teams to ensure effective cost control, project progress, and timely execution.
Key Responsibilities:1. Planning & Scheduling
Develop and monitor project schedules, timelines, and milestones.
Coordinate with engineering and construction teams to ensure alignment of activities.
Track progress and prepare periodic reports for management.
2. Engineering Coordination
Work with multi-disciplinary engineering teams:
Mechanical, Civil, Structural, Electrical, and C&I
.
Assist in reviewing technical documents, drawings, and BOQs from a financial and cost-impact perspective.
Identify cost optimization opportunities.
3. Quality & Inspection Support
Coordinate with quality teams to ensure compliance with standards and procedures.
Evaluate quality reports to assess cost and timeline impact.
Support inspection scheduling and documentation.
4. Project Management & Control
Support project budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
Monitor project expenditure vs. budget and ensure cost control.
Prepare MIS reports, financial dashboards, and variance analysis.
Assist in risk assessment and mitigation planning.
5. Site & Construction Support
Coordinate with site teams to track construction progress.
Monitor resource utilization and verify vendor bills/work done.
Visit sites when required to ensure alignment of finance, engineering, and execution activities.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong techno-commercial understanding.
Expertise in project planning tools (MS Project / Primavera preferred).
Knowledge of engineering disciplines and project execution processes.
Financial analysis, cost control, and budget management.
Excellent communication and coordination skills.
Ability to work with cross-functional teams.
Eligibility:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Civil/Electrical/Instrumentation) preferred.
MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification is an added advantage.
7-15 years of experience in technical, techno-commercial, or project finance roles.
