: Techno Commercial engineer



A techno-commercial engineer for die casting applies engineering knowledge to manage commercial aspects of die casting projects, focusing on technical feasibility, cost optimization, and client relationships. Key responsibilities include providing technical expertise for projects, analysing costs, supporting sales, coordinating between technical teams and clients, and ensuring project profitability. Qualifications typically involve a degree in a relevant engineering discipline, strong communication skills, negotiation abilities, and a good understanding of die casting processes and materials.

Key Responsibilities



Technical Expertise:



Bridging the gap between technical and commercial aspects by understanding die casting processes (HPDC, gravity die casting, etc.) and materials.

Commercial Support:



Providing commercial solutions for customers, supporting sales efforts, and managing client relationships by understanding their needs.

Project Management:



Overseeing projects from a technical-commercial perspective, ensuring deadlines and budget adherence.

Cost Analysis:



Analysing and optimizing costs associated with die casting processes, materials, and equipment to maximize profitability for clients and the company.

Cross-functional Collaboration:



Working closely with design, production, quality, and sales teams to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction.

Problem Solving:



Addressing and resolving technical and commercial issues that arise during the project lifecycle.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Education:



A bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering field is typically required.

Technical Knowledge:

In-depth knowledge of die casting processes (e.g., High-Pressure Die Casting - HPDC), die design, casting materials (aluminium, zinc), and associated machinery is crucial.

Software Proficiency:



Familiarity with design and simulation software (e.g., CAD software like UG/Pro-E, simulation software like Moldflow) is often a plus.

Commercial Acumen:



Strong negotiation, analytical, and commercial knowledge skills are essential for managing client expectations and project costs.

Communication:



Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.

Project Management:



Experience in project management and the ability to work under pressure are often required.

Quality Focus:



Understanding of quality aspects of die casting and parts, along with troubleshooting methods, is beneficial.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹350,000.00 - ₹550,000.00 per year
