The AGM - Techno-Commercial is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing both the technical and commercial aspects of business operations. The role requires strong coordination between engineering, procurement, sales, and project execution teams to ensure technical feasibility, commercial profitability, and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Responsibilities:
Analyze and interpret technical specifications, BOQs, and drawings.
Prepare and validate technical proposals and compliance documents.
Coordinate with engineering and production for technical feasibility and customization.
Ensure adherence to quality standards and technical deliverables.
Commercial Responsibilities:
Evaluate tenders, RFQs, and prepare detailed cost estimations.
Prepare commercial bids, pricing strategies, and profitability analysis.
Negotiate with vendors, suppliers, and customers on pricing and contract terms.
Review purchase orders, contracts, and commercial terms & conditions.
ProjectOperations Management:
Plan and monitor project timelines, budgets, and delivery schedules.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely execution.
Prepare and present MIS reports to management.
Resolve project or supply chain bottlenecks proactively.
Client & Vendor Coordination:
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and vendors.
Lead customer meetings, technical discussions, and presentations.
Provide post-sales support and manage escalations, if any.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics Engineering (B.E./B.Tech)
MBA (Operations / Marketing / Supply Chain) preferred
Experience:
8-10 years of experience in techno-commercial or project management roles
At least 3-5 years in a senior role (Manager/AGM level)
