Job Description

Prepare and calibrate anesthesia delivery systems, including the anesthetic machine, prior to medical procedures. Assist in the application of patient monitoring devices, such as electrocardiography (ECG) and blood pressure monitors, to assess the patient's condition. Manage the inventory of anesthesia supplies and medications, including ordering and stocking necessary items. Provide direct assistance to the anesthesiologist with airway management, such as preparing laryngeal masks and endotracheal tubes. Operate advanced anesthesia-related equipment, including infusion pumps and patient temperature regulation devices. Perform the cleaning, sterilization, and routine maintenance of anesthesia instruments and equipment after use. Aid in the proper positioning of patients to ensure their safety and comfort during the administration of anesthesia. Support the medical team during emergency situations by preparing necessary equipment and medications for resuscitation.
