Responsibilities

Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems using schematics and technical manuals. Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to troubleshoot and modify automated processes. Conduct electrical work including wiring, circuit testing with ohmmeters, and electrical system diagnostics to ensure safety and compliance. Execute welding tasks for equipment fabrication or repair projects, adhering to safety standards. Maintain facility infrastructure through general facilities maintenance tasks such as plumbing, HVAC checks, and lighting repairs. Support manufacturing operations by ensuring machinery runs smoothly, minimizing downtime through proactive maintenance strategies. Assist with residential painting projects as needed to support facility upgrades or aesthetic improvements. Use Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to document work orders, track maintenance history, and schedule future tasks. Supervise or assist in supervising team members during maintenance activities, fostering a collaborative environment focused on safety and quality. Provide excellent customer service by addressing internal client needs promptly and professionally. Lead small teams or projects related to maintenance or facility upgrades, demonstrating leadership skills and supervising experience.

Skills

Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and components used in industrial or manufacturing settings. Proficiency with schematics reading and interpretation for troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues. Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation control systems. Skilled in welding techniques suitable for repair or fabrication tasks. Electrical experience including wiring, circuit testing with ohmmeters, and troubleshooting electrical faults. Familiarity with facilities maintenance practices such as HVAC systems, plumbing, lighting, and general building upkeep. Ability to read and understand technical manuals and schematics clearly. Good command of the English language for effective communication within diverse teams. Customer service orientation with the ability to address internal stakeholders' needs efficiently. Leadership capabilities demonstrated through supervising or mentoring team members on maintenance projects. Experience working within manufacturing environments or industrial facilities is highly desirable.
