Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in tractors and other agricultural equipment. Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, filter replacements, and system inspections. Repair and replace defective parts, components, and systems to ensure optimal performance. Conduct engine overhauls, transmission repairs, and hydraulic system troubleshooting. Use diagnostic tools and software to assess and resolve technical problems. Keep detailed records of repairs, services performed, and parts used. Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance procedures to clients. Stay up to date with industry advancements and new technologies.

Qualifications and Skills:

Proven experience as a tractor technician, agricultural mechanic, or related role. Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, hand tools, and power tools. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Physical stamina and ability to work in various conditions (outdoors, workshops, field service). Valid driver's license; CDL may be preferred for field service roles.
