TECHNICIAN - MOTOR/ ALTERNATOR (AC & DC, LV & HV)
Salary: Basic RO 125 - 140 p.m. + Adhoc Allowance 10% of basic
: Position Title: Technician - Motor / Alternator (AC & DC, LV & HV)
Position Summary:
The Technician will assist senior technicians in the dismantling, inspection, troubleshooting, repair, and testing of AC & DC motors and alternators (Low Voltage and High Voltage) at both the workshop and customer sites. This role is intended to provide technical support, accurate recording of observations, and safe execution of all assigned tasks while gaining hands-on expertise in rotating electrical machines.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist senior technicians in dismantling and cleaning of motors and alternators.
Support in inspection activities by recording clearances, insulation readings, and condition of components.
Help in identifying and reporting possible faults or abnormalities in motors and alternators.
Participate in troubleshooting and repair activities under supervision.
Assist in preparing motors and alternators for solo-run and load testing.
Maintain job cards, service records, and inspection sheets as instructed.
Ensure all tools, instruments, and workshop equipment are handled carefully and maintained in good condition.
Follow safety procedures during workshop and site activities.
Cooperate and work as part of the technical team to complete jobs efficiently.
Qualifications & Experience:
ITI / Trade Certificate / Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical discipline.
Minimum 2-4 years' experience in motor or alternator repair/maintenance preferred (fresh candidates with strong technical aptitude may be considered).
Basic knowledge of AC & DC motor principles.
Familiarity with workshop tools and measuring instruments.
Exposure to electrical testing equipment (megger, multimeter, etc.) will be an advantage.
Skills & Competencies:
Good technical aptitude and willingness to learn.
Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision.
Strong attention to detail in recording measurements and observations.
Team player with good communication skills.

Pay: ₹28,696.05 - ₹32,139.58 per month
