The ITI Technician is responsible for installation, maintenance, testing, and repair of electrical and electronic systems, equipment, and appliances. The role involves troubleshooting faults, ensuring safe operation, and supporting day-to-day technical activities in industrial, commercial, or service environments.
Key Responsibilities
Install, inspect, maintain, and repair electrical and electronic equipment
Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in circuits, devices, and systems
Read and understand wiring diagrams, circuit diagrams, and technical manuals
Perform routine servicing and preventive maintenance
Handle tools, testing instruments, and measuring devices safely
Assist senior engineers or supervisors in technical work
Maintain records of maintenance, repairs, and materials used
Follow safety rules, electrical standards, and company procedures
Skills Required
Basic knowledge of electrical and electronic principles
Hands-on troubleshooting skills
Ability to use testing instruments (multimeter, tester, etc.)
Basic computer knowledge (preferred)
