The ITI Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in accordance with safety standards and technical specifications. The role involves troubleshooting faults, performing routine inspections, and ensuring uninterrupted power supply to support smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults in machinery, panels, and circuits.
Conduct regular preventive maintenance of electrical systems and ensure timely repairs.
Inspect electrical components, such as transformers, circuit breakers, and switchboards.
Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and company procedures.
Maintain accurate maintenance logs and service reports.
Assist in electrical upgrades, installations, and layout modifications as required.
Coordinate with other technicians and departments for a smooth workflow.
Qualification and Skills:
ITI certificate in the Electrician trade (recognized institute).
Minimum [1-3] years of experience in electrical maintenance or industrial setup.
Sound knowledge of electrical circuits, panels, and industrial wiring.
Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and technical manuals.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Good understanding of safety regulations and PPE usage.
Working Conditions:
Full-time, site-based role.
May require shift work, overtime, or on-call duty in case of breakdowns.
Adherence to all safety and PPE guidelines is mandatory.
