The Electrical Technician will play a crucial role in the assembly and integration of avionics, routing the harness and testing of aerospace components and systems. This position requires good exposure & experience in electrical and avionics systems & attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of hands-on experience with the assembly and integration of aerospace systems, along with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve electrical and electronic issues.
Key Responsibilities:
Assemble, integrate, routing harness and test aerospace components and systems according to engineering specifications and standards.
Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documents to ensure accurate assembly and integration of parts.
Perform electrical troubleshooting and repair on aerospace systems, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
Perform electrical operations such as soldering, crimping, routing harness, brazing and electrical connector preparation etc.
Collaborate with engineering teams to provide feedback on design and assembly processes, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Utilize precision tools and equipment to measure, align, and assemble electrical components with high accuracy.
Conduct functional tests and inspections to ensure systems meet performance and safety requirements.
Document assembly procedures, test results, and any deviations from standard practices, maintaining accurate records.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure compliance with industry standards.
Participate in training and professional development opportunities to stay current with industry trends and technologies.
Qualifications:
Diploma in Electrical Engineering or ITI electrical or equivalent.
Proven experience in aerospace assembly and integration, with a good exposure to aerospace electrical systems.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and engineering documentation.
Hands-on experience with precision tools, electrical measurement equipment, and electrical assembly techniques.
Hands-on experience with equipment such as a soldering machine, crimping tools, multimeter and all the electrical operations and measuring instruments.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues.
Familiarity with aerospace industry standards, safety protocols, and quality assurance practices.
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining high standards of workmanship and accuracy.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and move components (up to 20 kg) and work in various physical conditions.
Capability to work in confined spaces and at heights if required.
