Job Description

:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Technician to join our team at TATA Popular Mega Motors, Kannur. The Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles, ensuring high-quality service and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine vehicle inspections, servicing, and maintenance. Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools. Repair or replace worn parts and components (e.g., brakes, suspension, transmission, etc.). Follow manufacturer guidelines and company procedures in vehicle servicing. Conduct road tests to confirm repair effectiveness. Maintain service records and report issues to the Service Advisor or Workshop Supervisor. Ensure tools and equipment are in good condition and workplace safety standards are followed. Provide technical assistance to junior technicians when needed.

Required Skills:

Strong understanding of automotive systems and diagnostic procedures. Ability to work with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment. Problem-solving ability and attention to detail. Good communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications:

ITI/Diploma in Automobile Engineering or related technical certification. Prior experience in vehicle service or dealership workshop preferred. Knowledge of multi-brand vehicle systems is an added advantage.

Work Conditions:

Workshop-based role with occasional field service calls. Working hours may include weekends and extended hours based on workload.
