Duties

Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify mechanical, electrical, and structural issues using diagnostic tools. Perform routine vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid replacements to ensure safety and reliability. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to carry out repairs efficiently and accurately. Repair or replace damaged auto body parts, perform auto restoration projects, and handle heavy lifting tasks safely with appropriate equipment. Diagnose complex automotive problems, develop repair plans, and execute repairs adhering to manufacturer standards. Maintain detailed service records, update repair logs, and communicate findings clearly to team members or customers. Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and quality standards while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Experience

Proven mechanic experience with a strong background in automotive repair and vehicle maintenance. Solid mechanical knowledge of various vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and electrical components. Hands-on experience with auto body repair and auto restoration projects preferred. Familiarity with the use of hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and heavy lifting techniques. Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in automotive service centers or repair shops is highly desirable.
