Experience : 3 to 5 years

Responsibilities:

• Create technical documents that convey accurate messaging for the project/client\'s platform(s)Create and refine technical information and other materials for explaining products and services
• Write articles to provide troubleshooting and bug fixes
• Suggest best practices and optimizations throughout content generation projects
• Collaborate with fellow technical communicators and content creators
• QA content for errors
• Manage projects within content specifications
• Use company brand voice and messaging for written pieces to reinforce the company culture
• Provide feedback, and recommend changes whenever possible
• Regularly participate in status and writing staff meetings
• Ensure projects are completed on time and meet quality standards

Qualifications

• Bachelor\'s degree in a relevant technical field preferred
• 3+ years of experience in technical writing or software documentation
• Proficiency in word processor programs such as Microsoft Word, Google Docs, and PDF Software such as Adobe Acrobat
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Fluency in English
• Healthy analytical and critical thinking skills
• Time management and organizational skills
• Basic knowledge of Markdown and HTML is a plus
• Experience with digital media formats preferred

We\'re looking for a technical writer with a recent portfolio; please submit sample articles that have been published within the past three years for consideration. Older samples will be accepted only if accompanied by newer works.
