Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Technical Writer with an engineering background (Mechanical or Electronics & Telecommunication) to join our Technical Publications team. The role involves creating high-quality step-by-step installation manuals, IOMs (Installation, Operation, and Maintenance Manuals), and related technical documentation for engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities

Develop clear, concise, and accurate technical documentation, including Installation Manuals, IOMs, and Work Instructions. Work with SolidWorks models and assemblies to extract visuals, create exploded views, and develop technical illustrations. Use Adobe Illustrator to refine and prepare illustrations, schematics, and diagrams for manuals. Collaborate with engineering and product teams to gather technical information. Ensure documentation meets quality standards, is user-friendly, and complies with industry requirements. Maintain version control and update documents based on engineering changes.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's degree in

Mechanical Engineering

or

Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering

(or related field). Hands-on experience with

SolidWorks (mandatory)

. Experience in creating IOMs, Service Manuals, or Technical Guides.

Proficiency in Adobe tools (specially in Illustrator)

for technical illustration and graphic editing. Strong technical writing and documentation skills with attention to detail. Ability to interpret engineering drawings, BOMs, and specifications.

Strong command over English (written and verbal)

. Familiarity with other publishing tools like MadCap Flare, Arbortext Editor, Oxygen XML Author, FrameMaker, or MS Office Suite. Knowledge of industry standards for technical documentation.

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per year
