Position Summary
The
Technical Writer / Process Coordinator
plays a vital role in supporting the Project Management Office (PMO) by developing, organizing, and maintaining clear, concise documentation for both internal processes and customer-facing materials. This role ensures that implementation processes, procedures, and training resources are standardized, accessible, and aligned with company objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with the PMO team to document project implementation processes, best practices, and workflows.
Develop and maintain
internal process documentation
, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), project templates, and process guides.
Create and update
customer-facing documentation
, such as user manuals, installation guides, onboarding materials, and training content.
Work closely with project managers, software engineers, product managers, and implementation specialists to ensure accuracy and consistency across all materials.
Develop and maintain a centralized documentation repository for internal and external use.
Translate complex technical information into clear, user-friendly content tailored to different audiences.
Assist in designing and delivering training materials and resources to support client onboarding and software adoption.
Ensure documentation aligns with project timelines, quality standards, and compliance requirements.
Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying documentation gaps and recommending solutions.
Use A.I. and other tools to create short instructional videos for users.
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication, English, Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in
technical writing
,
process documentation
, or
project coordination
within a software or technology environment.
Strong skills in technical writing, process mapping, and information design.
Proficiency with documentation tools such as Confluence, SharePoint, Google Workspace, or Microsoft Office.
Ability to understand and communicate complex technical concepts clearly and accurately.
Excellent organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred:
Experience in SaaS, ERP, or inventory management software environments.
Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
Experience creating multimedia documentation (videos, visuals, or interactive content).
