JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Lead the development and maintenance of comprehensive technical documentation, including user manuals, API guides, and online help resources.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, and designers, to gather and understand complex technical information about various product features.
  • Translate intricate technical concepts into clear, concise, and user-friendly content, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Develop and maintain documentation style guides and standardized typographies to maintain consistency across all materials.
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to effectively communicate complex subjects to a diverse audience.
  • Manage documentation projects, including planning, scheduling, and meeting deadlines.
  • Collaborate in user testing and gather feedback to refine documentation and user guides for optimal usability.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in technical writing tools and methodologies, contributing to the improvement of documentation processes.
SKILLS AND EXPERTISE
  • Proven working experience in technical writing of software documentation
  • Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and convert the concepts into easily understandable documentation.
  • Good working knowledge of typography and technical documentation models
  • Good knowledge of content authoring tools, including HTML-based editors
  • Good knowledge of the software development life cycle
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Self-starter and ability to work independently
  • Flexible/adaptable with the ability to set and manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to work under minimum supervision and in a geographically distributed team
