Designation / Position: Technical Writer Mandatory requirements: Candidate should possess excellent writing skills Candidate should be purely from software documentation background Education qualification should be any Bachelor\'s degree in English, Computer science, Electronics, or Instrumentation candidate should has very good knowledge of MSTP (Microsoft Manual of Style for Technical Publications) Candidate should have experience in developing different kinds of documentation (Installation Manual, User manual, API documentation, online helps, and so on) Additional requirements: DITA based authoring or structured authoring Experience in video creation Experience in creative writing Proficiency in authoring and image capturing tools such as XMetaL, Adobe Acrobat, Adobe illustrator, and SnagIt Knowledge of content management system, such as: SDL Trisoft or any Experience in cloud based projects, telecom, networking, or finance based software projects. Experience in video creation Qualifications 3 to 6 years of experience in Technical writing or editing Excellent communication and writing skills Experience in editing and rewriting content in the technical documents Experience in developing user manuals and help files Well-versed with Microsoft style guide Experience in XML-based structured authoring Experience with a variety of writing styles (such as technical, creative, and marketing) will be a plus Ability and desire to learn about new products and technology Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Good knowledge of Software development life cycle and documentation development life cycle Candidate who has very good knowledge of MSTP (Microsoft Manual of Style for Technical Publications) Candidate should have experience in developing different kinds of documentation (Installation Manual, User manual, API documentation, online helps, and so on) Tools: Proficiency in authoring and image capturing tools such as XMetaL, Adobe Acrobat, Adobe illustrator, and SnagIt Knowledge of content management system, such as: SDL Trisoft or any experience with software documentation, who worked in IA domain/Telecom & Network Domain is preferred Aeronautical domain candidates please do not apply Experience in Video creation is plus Keywords : technical writer, xml, documentation, adobe, xml, mstp, DITA, Work Experience Required 4 to 7 years CTC offered Upto 10 LPA Job Location(s) Pan India Industry Type Advertising / PR / MR / Event Management Functional Area IT Software - Other Qualification MBA/ Graduation
