Job Summary:



Technical Trainer is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering comprehensive training programs for customer service staff, covering both technical and non-technical areas. This role involves close collaboration with various departments to ensure training programs are effective, engaging, and aligned with the company's strategic goals. The Trainer will also manage vocational courses like Mechatronics, educational institutions (ADAM), and other Mercedes-Benz entities, including certification courses on Battery Electric Vehicles, ensuring continuous improvement and high levels of customer satisfaction.



Key Responsibilities:



Training Program Development: Design and develop training programs that align with global strategies and meet the needs of customer service staff, covering a wide range of topics including technical (including Advanced Automotive Technology, new model launches, EV technology) and non-technical areas (MB brand, processes, communication, customer handling, product information, Mechatronics, vocational courses, and vendor-specific training.



Training Delivery: Facilitate training sessions, workshops, competitions, and seminars for customer service staff. Utilize diverse training methods and techniques to engage employees and enhance learning outcomes.



Needs Assessment: Conduct training needs assessments to identify skill gaps and areas for development. Collaborate with department heads to prioritize training initiatives. Assess, monitor, and prepare reports on knowledge and skill evaluations before and after training activities.



Content Creation: Create engaging and effective training materials, including manuals, e-learning modules, and job aids. Ensure content is current and relevant to the needs.



Performance Evaluation: Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics. Use data to identify areas for improvement and adjust training programs accordingly.



Onboarding Support: Assist in the onboarding process by providing initial technical training and support. Ensure new hires are effectively integrated into the team and understand their roles and responsibilities.



Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in training. Continuously improve training programs to meet the evolving needs of the company and its employees. Ensure personal qualification through ongoing training courses.



Collaboration: Work closely with various departments, including HR, to ensure training programs align with overall company goals. Provide support and guidance to managers and supervisors on training-related matters.



Compliance Training: Ensure all mandatory compliance training is conducted and completed by customer service staff. Maintain accurate records of training compliance.



Miscellaneous: Manage activities related to internal and external audits, administration, asset management, and investments.


Skills:

Strong knowledge of customer service principles and best practices. Excellent facilitation and presentation skills. Strong organizational and project management skills. Proficiency in using Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning tools. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifikationen
Education:

Bachelor's degree in engineering


Experience:

Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in training and development, within a customer service environment. Proven track record of designing and delivering effective training programs.
