Technical Trainer and Apprentice Recruitment Coordinator


Role Overview:


The Technical Trainer and Apprentice Recruitment Coordinator is responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process of apprentice trainees, conducting their technical training, evaluating their progress, and ensuring compliance with government apprenticeship guidelines. This role also involves coordinating with various departments and government bodies, managing apprenticeship documentation, and contributing to employee welfare schemes.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Recruitment of Apprentice Trainees

Liaise with ITI instructors to arrange campus interviews at Ankleshwar, Bardoli, Majuragate, Bilimoria & other ITIs. Coordinate with selected candidates regarding joining dates, required documentation, and compliance after NCVT results. Organize and conduct written tests and personal interviews at LMTG/ITI campuses. Facilitate medical examination processes in collaboration with Occupational Health Centre (OHC) and follow up on medical reports. Guide trainees through online/offline offer acceptance processes, contract generation, ID card preparation, access arrangements, PPE distribution, and safety inductions. Issue Apprentice Allotment letters and Experience certificates.

2. Training and Evaluation of Apprentice Trainees

Classroom Training:



Teach basic technical concepts such as Geometry, Algebra, Trigonometry, trade theory, machine operations, dimensional tolerances, weld joints, and first-aid.

Workshop Training:



Instruct on workshop discipline, occupational safety, 5S methodology, machine operations (SMAW welding, gas cutting, HF hand grinding, drilling, tapping, milling, lathe operations). Conduct practical sessions with focus on safety and precision. Carry out monthly tests, fortnightly progress reporting, and quarterly appraisals in coordination with supervisors and managers.

3. Examination & Compliance

Organize practical exams for Apprentice Trainees as part of All India Trade Test (AITT) per government guidelines. Prepare question papers, raw materials, conduct exams, evaluate, and prepare mark sheets. Manage apprenticeship data and claims submission for MATS & NAPS schemes, including e-KYC and E-Shram card updates on government portals.

Skills & Qualifications:

Strong coordination and communication skills. Knowledge of apprenticeship training programs and government compliance. Experience in technical training in mechanical/engineering trades. Proficiency in conducting assessments and evaluations. Ability to handle multiple administrative and training tasks effectively. * Basic computer skills for data entry, report preparation, and portal management.
