This role is for a Test Automation specialist who will work in the Cloud Engineering team to ensure the test suite is continuously expanded and improved, the successful applicant must embrace the SRE culture and look to automate.

What will you be doing?

  • Overall responsibility for quality and governance and the performance of the systems.
  • Ensure adherence to testing governance and processes
  • Ensuring that no large scale performance problems hit production.a,
  • Stakeholder management
  • Build efficiency in testing and continuous improvement of test methods, techniques and process
  • Ensure test team create and execute tests using Approveda, Automation/Functional/Performance Test tools as applicable aligning to overall test strategy defined.
  • Facilitate defect triage so that all appropriate teams including own team participate in speedy resolution and ensure the team shares knowledge gained/lessons learned to wider testing community.
  • Provide accurate and timely status reports and project metrics to various levels of stakeholders and as agreed by the project and QA leadership team.
  • Track all testing Risks/Issues/Dependencies/Assumptions from beginning of the project till closure and Highlight them beforehand to Program and Project.
  • Escalate any issues to Portfolio Test Lead and Program Manager as appropriate and in timely manner and provide options to resolve the issuesa, for projectaAEURA(TM)s point of view
  • Good understanding of test methods and techniques
  • Participate in requirement analysis, identifying risks and creation of test scenarios
  • Always looking for opportunities to perform exploratory testing
  • Actively keep up to date with the feature teams, spot inconsistencies, and potential conflicts in approach. Work to ensure full integration with a focus on the quality of the overall service.
What weaAEURA(TM)re looking for:
  • 10+ years of experience in QA aAEURA" Manual and Automation
  • Good understanding of BDD, Hands on experience in automation development and execution using AWS
  • Excellent knowledge of Python Programming
  • Extensive knowledge of Testing lifecycle and core testing process/techniques using different test approaches
  • Excellent knowledge in testing skills (provide estimations, design test plan and test strategy, writing test scenarios, cases, executing test cases, opening bugs, verifying bugs)
  • Awareness on CI/CD and DevOps - Jenkins
  • Experience of using the Git source code control system
  • Experience of working in Agile Methodology
  • Excellent communication skills [verbal and written] are essential.a, Ability to communicate with the global team is essential.
  • Strong analytical capability
  • Able to identify processes and tools that will optimize and improve the quality of testing
  • API test automation, XML Verification etc.
  • Good understanding of UI test automation tools e.g. Selenium, UFT, etc.
  • Proven ability to learn new skills quickly, and commit to progress formal certification in Cloud technology.
  • Be able to communicate clearly on the status and progress of allocated activities

  • Knowledge of AWS
  • Jenkins pipeline scripting (Groovy or Jenkinsfile)
  • Performance testing tools (Locust)
