Technical Support - Metrology

A purpose driven role for you

To handle 2D / Form inspection work of various types of plastic / engine / vehicle parts & assemblies.

Ability to do 3D scanning through blue/white light scanner

Sound knowledge of GD&T parameters and Machine standards

A Day in the life

3D/2D Inspection through Polyworks & GOM software over scan data

Experience on Portable and Fixed CMM will be an added advantage.

Sound Knowledge of GD&T & all Measuring instruments as per standards.

Report preparation of inspected components wrt DWG

Handling of linear measurement instruments like Vernier calliper, micrometre etc.

Handling of precise Measuring instruments like CMM, Roughness tester, Form measurement, Gears inspection etc.

Inspection data compilation & submission for Approval.

To keep track of inspection work load and maintain a timeline for inspection activities.

Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of equipment and masters.

Having a good sound knowledge of two wheeler industry

New Model Proto parts Inspection

Prototype parts inspection with reports within project time line.

2D inspection of components and report generation wrt DWG and highlighting discrepancies

Academic Qualification & Experience

Diploma (Mech)

Technical Skills/Knowledge

Good Exp in Metrology, Measuring equipment's, 3D scanner, and Portable CMM ,Roundness /Roughness tester, Gear Tester etc.

Behavioural Skills

Communication, MS Office, Decision making, Innovative & Creativity, Planning & Organizing,Analytical, Technical Problem Solving
