TAC-3 support/GSD

Remote support for the NPT product family for ECI/Ribbon Global/India customer. Work closely with software and Hardware R&D team to provide the details root cause analysis and solution.

Requirements

  • B.E. / B. tech in Electronics or Electronics and telecommunication.
  • 5 to 12 years of Experience in working with Telecom /DATACOM product-based companies.
  • Must be result oriented and have a high degree of accountability, commitment and responsibility.
  • Must possess outstanding problem solving skills, excellent multi-tasking, written & verbal communication and organizational skills.
  • Should be able to work independently and must be fast learner
Domain Skills
  • In-depth knowledge of Routing Protocols: IS -IS, OSPF, BGP, IPV4, and IPV6.
  • Deep understanding of advanced and emerging technologies like Segment Routing, ISIS-TE, MPLS, RSVP -TE,EVPN , L3-VPN, L2VPN, Traffic Engineering & QoS.
  • In depth knowledge of Layer 2 protocols like VLAN, STP, RSTP,MSTP, LACP,802.1p, 802.1ag,QOS.
  • Knowledge on Multicasting protocols like IGMP, PIM.
  • Should have knowledge of CES and PDH technology.
  • Experience in configuration and setup of various switches with Data analyzers like IXIA and Spirent.
Preferred / Added Advantage:
  • Worked with EMS, NMS, Solaris/LINUX/UNIX, windows O/S platforms.
  • Has experience with provisioning & monitoring with a telecom service provider.
Roles and Responsibility
  • Remote support for the Global/ India customer.
  • Handling the task opened by Tier-2 support team and coordinating with them.
  • Providing the solution with the customer SLA.
  • Reproducing the issue in lab with the help of R&D and providing the workaround.
  • Action line support for once in a week.
