Technical Support Engineer (SQL & Application)

We are seeking a proactive

Technical Support Engineer

who is equally comfortable writing SQL commands and talking to people. This role is a hybrid of

Database Administration

and

Customer Success

, perfect for someone who enjoys solving puzzles and helping businesses thrive through technology.

The Mission

Your goal is to ensure our clients never feel "stuck." You will handle the heavy lifting of database setup and software deployment while acting as a trusted guide, teaching users how to master our web and software platforms.

1. The Data & SQL Pillar

Infrastructure:

Install and configure SQL instances from scratch.

Architecture:

Create and modify databases, ensuring data integrity and logical structure.

Scripting:

Write efficient SQL commands to pull reports, update records, and automate routine tasks.

Upkeep:

Monitor database health, manage backups, and optimize query performance.

2. The Implementation Pillar

Deployment:

Remotely install and configure our software suite on client machines.

Integration:

Ensure software correctly connects to the database and web environment.

Updates:

Manage version control and push patches to client systems without downtime.

3. The Education Pillar

Web Training:

Demonstrate website functionality and backend navigation to new users.

Software Advocacy:

Show clients "pro-tips" that save them time and increase their productivity.

Support:

Provide empathetic, clear troubleshooting via chat, email, or video calls.
