The role also encompasses user and application management, data backup, and device installation, ensuring smooth execution and support for IT infrastructure deployments.
Key Responsibilities:
Desktop Deployment and Troubleshooting:
o Installation and configuration of desktop hardware and software.
o Operating System installation, imaging, and upgrades on desktops and laptops.
o Troubleshooting hardware and software issues on end-user devices.
o Installation and troubleshooting of desktop applications, including Microsoft Office Suite and other enterprise applications.
User and Application Management:
o Managing O365 and Google Workspace (Gsuite) users, including creation, deletion, and permissions.
o Active Directory user account management (creation, modification, and deletion).
o Troubleshooting user access issues for enterprise applications and services.
Peripheral Device Setup:
o Installation and configuration of printing, scanning, and imaging devices.
o Troubleshooting connectivity and operational issues with peripheral devices.
Network Troubleshooting:
o Basic troubleshooting of network connectivity issues (LAN/WAN).
o Identifying and escalating network-related issues to the appropriate teams.
Data Backup and Recovery:
o Ensuring data backup for critical systems and user devices.
o Assisting users with data recovery and managing backup tools and software.
OEM Call Management:
o Raising and managing support calls with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs).
o Coordinating with OEMs for warranty claims, parts replacements, and escalations.
Project Deployment:
o Supporting IT project deployments, including hardware setup and infrastructure readiness.
o Documenting deployment procedures, configurations, and user guides.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Minimum Graduate or Experience in Related Field.
2+ years of experience in IT deployments or technical support.
Basic knowledge of server and storage systems, including OS installation.
Proficiency in desktop hardware installation, application management, and troubleshooting.
Experience in O365 and Google Workspace (Gsuite) user management.
Knowledge of Active Directory user and group management.
Basic understanding of networking concepts and troubleshooting.
Experience with ticketing systems and OEM support processes.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification will be preferred.
Familiarity with IT project lifecycle and deployment processes.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Work Environment:
On-site deployment at client locations as required.
Flexible to work in shifts or extended hours based on project needs.
