Due to technology and infrastructure changes within DWS, a new technical team has to be established on IT side to assure infrastructure and middleware support for 7 applications used by DWS Operations teams (focusing on fund accounting).
The team has to serve global business teams, accordingly to their time zone (Europe, US and APAC). The applications in scope have different technology stacks and origin (internally developed and vendors apps).
The activities of the team include monitoring of the interfaces (> 100, with different integration patterns), coding & scripting to fix production issues or cover new requirements (Linux and Windows environments), assurance compliance of middleware components with DB/DWS technical roadmap as well as rollouts changes into productive environments.
The technical specialist / engineer is a member of that team.
