This role is pivotal in bridging technical expertise with customer needs, ensuring Knauf's products and systems are effectively implemented in projects while maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

What you'll be doing:

Work closely with the Technical Head to enhance technical expertise and foster innovation. Lead the regional technical team to ensure project wins and customer satisfaction through technical services. Provide personal attention to key projects and on-site trainings in collaboration with sales and specification teams. Support design team in large projects for submittals, mockup execution and providing technical details. Collaborate with sales and specification teams to create system proposals, detailed drawings, and material consumption sheets. Address customer complaints and provide technical inputs to team for root cause analysis. Develop capable contractors, installers, project dealers to ensure good construction practices are followed in the region. Work with external partners (e.g., Hilti, Fischer) to integrate allied products into solutions. Support in design inputs for new products and systems, including CAD drawings and physical evaluations. Assist in prototype installations in third-party laboratories. Conduct periodic visits to OEMs for random inspections and provide feedback to the QC/QA team for process improvements. Conduct surveys and technical assignments on emerging trends (e.g., steel buildings, plasters, precast buildings). Contribute to innovations and new ways of working. Ensure delivery of technical training to internal teams, customers, and contractors.

B. E / B. Tech in Civil/Mechanical Engineering with 12+ years of experience in Dry Construction / Building material Industry Strong leadership and team management capabilities. Expertise in technical solutions, system design, and construction practices. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with internal teams, customers, and external agencies. Analytical skills for root cause analysis, quality assurance and data-based decision making. Proactive approach to innovation and staying updated on market trends In-depth knowledge of Building Construction and finishing materials Proficient in technical and analytical tools will be added advantage
High level of proficiency in English / Hindi / local language.
