Tricon is seeking a Technical Service Manager in Mumbai.






Roles & Responsibilities:





Provide technical support for safe and efficient PE /PP/GPPS/ABS product usage at customer end. Develop technical solutions with Dow, Borouge, OQ, SABIC, Equate, Lyondell Basell products to meet customer requirement Maintain close relationship with customer, OEMs (Original Equipment and Manufacturer) and suppliers. Collaborations with business team to build and maintain deep knowledge of market trends and to gain alignment with end user requirements. Identify and pursue opportunities generated from cross functional market development teams. Analyze customers/ market needs into new product development / business development opportunities. Handling customer complaints and providing suitable solutions. Technical assistance in generating technical documents and learning program for the team. Conduct technical trainings for Tricon team, customers and educational institutions.



Qualifications/Skills




Bachelor's degree, master's degree in polymer Engineering or Plastic Engineering from a reputed college with minimum 70% and above (equivalent CGPA)? Minimum 5 years of experience in customer/product/application development, technical development, and support R&D (Research and Development) and product testing. Minimum 5 years of experience in responsible roles in Polymer industry , petrochemical industry, packaging industry, automobile industry and compounding conversion industry Film and auto compounding formulation experience preferred. - Automotive, master batches, wire and cable. Experience in metallocene based flexible packaging, PP compounding, HD/PP pipe, HD/LD wire and cable solution development. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English Strong interpersonal skills and analytical capabilities Travel domestically and internationally as required. Individual having experience in HAOs (metallocene based products), PP (Polypropylene) films, BOPP (Biaxially-Oriented (BO) Polypropylene (PP))/ cPP (cast polypropylene film) conversion and flexible packaging solution development will be added advantage. * Individual having experience HD Pipe, wire & cable, automotive and master batch formulation development, compounding and molding troubleshooting will be added advantage.
