Engineer - Technical Services

Role Overview
The Engineer - Technical Services will be responsible for
installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and technical support
of machine vision systems at customer sites. The role requires strong technical acumen, practical problem-solving ability, and confident communication to ensure successful project delivery and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Install, configure, and commission machine vision systems, cameras, and lighting setups.
Conduct trials, testing, and validation of vision-based applications.
Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues during and after commissioning.
Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers.
Prepare detailed service reports, documentation, and project handover logs.
Coordinate with project and sales teams for requirement analysis and solution deployment.
Conduct product demonstrations, training, and proof-of-concept (POC) sessions.
Perform preventive maintenance to ensure system uptime.
Resolve customer complaints promptly and professionally.
Required Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of electronics, sensors, and industrial communication protocols.
Basic understanding of machine vision tools such as measurement, OCR, and defect detection.
Hands-on experience with PLCs, automation systems, or vision software (preferred).
Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical layouts.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent communication and customer-handling skills.
Readiness to travel frequently for on-site installations and support.
Additional Preferences (Not Mandatory)
Experience with systems such as Cognex, Keyence, or Teledyne Dalsa.
Familiarity with industrial networking (Ethernet/IP, Modbus, Profinet).
Basic programming or scripting knowledge.

This position requires prior experience in industrial automation or vision systems. Freshers are not eligible to apply.
