Key Purpose of the Job (Position Summary) To drive business growth by identifying and developing new clients, promoting facade and building envelope solutions, and providing technical expertise throughout the sales process -- from enquiry to project closure.
Key Responsibilities 1. Business Development & Sales 1. Identify and generate new business opportunities within the construction, architectural, and facade industries. 2. Meet architects, consultants, builders, contractors, and project management companies to promote company products and solutions. 3. Prepare and present technical and commercial proposals to clients. 4. Achieve monthly and annual sales targets as defined by management. 2. Technical Support & Coordination 1. Understand client requirements, project specifications, and technical drawings. 2. Recommend appropriate facade systems or materials based on project needs. 3. Liaise with the design and estimation teams for preparing quotations, BOQs, and technical submissions. 4. Conduct site visits and coordinate with project and execution teams to ensure client satisfaction. 3. Relationship Management 1. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders -- architects, consultants, builders, and contractors. 2. Follow up on leads, quotations, and negotiations to convert opportunities into confirmed orders. 3. Ensure consistent communication and after-sales support
4. Market Research & Reporting 1. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies. 2. Provide regular reports on sales performance, client feedback, and market intelligence to management. 5. Key Skills & Competencies: 1. Strong knowledge of facade systems, aluminium/glazing works, or construction materials. 2. Excellent communication and presentation skills. 3. Technical understanding of drawings (AutoCAD knowledge preferred). 4. Negotiation and client relationship management skills. 1. 5. Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently. Key Skills / Experience Required Educational Qualification ? Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Civil, Mechanical, or Architectural Engineering. Additional Qualifications / certifications ? Certification in Facade Engineering or Building Envelope Design (e.g., from CWCT, FTI, or equivalent). ? Certification in AutoCAD, Revit, or 3D modeling software. ? Training in Sales and Negotiation Techniques or Technical Sales Management. Prior experience ? 2-6 years of experience in technical sales, facade, or construction material sales. ? Experience in aluminum glazing, ACP cladding, window systems, or building envelope solutions. Other skills (preferred) ? Good grasp of pricing, estimation, and costing for facade and glazing projects. ? Ability to interpret facade system details and explain technical concepts to nontechnical clients.
