O-rings, Valve seats, X-rings, Lip seals, Spring energized seals, Hammer Union seals, Packing Elements etc.
These products are mainly used as sealing components in Ball Valves, Butterfly valves, Pumps, Braking Systems of Mining trucks, Hammer Unions and Packers of Oilfield equipments etc.
Job Summary
The Technical Sales Executive is responsible for identifying business opportunities, generating leads, providing technical solutions to customers, and driving revenue growth. The role requires strong technical understanding of products, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage customer relationships effectively.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Business Development
Identify and develop new business opportunities in assigned regions or industry segments.
Conduct market research to understand customer needs and competitor activities.
Generate leads, follow up, and convert inquiries into orders.
Prepare and deliver sales presentations, technical proposals, and quotations.
2. Customer Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
Conduct regular customer visits for product presentations, trials, and technical discussions.
Resolve customer concerns by coordinating with internal teams (Production, Quality, Design, R&D).
3. Technical Support
Understand product specifications, engineering drawings, and application requirements.
Provide technical guidance to customers on product selection, customization, and usage.
Coordinate with engineering teams to develop solutions for customized requirements.
4. Sales Operations
Prepare sales forecasts, weekly/monthly reports, and pipeline updates.
Negotiate commercial terms and finalize orders as per company policies.
Ensure timely order processing, dispatch coordination, and payment collection.
5. Post-Sales Support
Support customers during installation, commissioning, or product trials.
Gather customer feedback and communicate product improvements to the internal team.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical engineering.
2-6 years of experience in technical or industrial product sales
Strong understanding of technical drawings, product specifications, and industrial applications.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to travel frequently for client visits.
Proficiency in MS Office,ERP knowledge is an added advantage.
Preferred Experience
Experience in manufacturing industries such as Rubber, Plastics, Automotive, Engineering Components, Industrial Machinery, or similar.
Exposure to OEMs / Tier-1 suppliers / B2B industrial sales.
Experience in handling technical discussions and solution-based selling.
