To provide on-site technical support, product demonstration, and sales assistance for crane control gear products. The role involves understanding customer requirements, recommending suitable technical solutions, and ensuring seamless after-sales service, while also driving sales growth in the assigned region.
Key Responsibilities:Sales & Business Development
Promote and sell crane control gear products (radio remote controls, panels, resistors, push button stations, limit switches, etc.) to new and existing customers.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with crane manufacturers, end-users, OEMs, and contractors.
Identify new business opportunities and convert leads into sales.
Achieve sales targets and contribute to revenue growth in the assigned territory.
Technical Support & Service
Act as a residential engineer in the assigned region, providing first-level service support.
Conduct product demonstrations, trials, and installations at customer sites.
Assist customers in product selection, configuration, and troubleshooting.
Handle warranty issues, repairs, and preventive maintenance for supplied products.
Liaise with the technical team/factory for escalations and ensure timely resolution.
Customer Relationship Management
Provide technical training and guidance to customers and distributors.
Regularly visit clients to understand requirements and gather feedback.
Maintain customer satisfaction through proactive support and service.
Coordination & Reporting
Coordinate with the internal sales and service teams for order processing and project execution.
Submit regular sales forecasts, service reports, and market intelligence updates.
Ensure compliance with company policies and service standards.
Key Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of
electrical/electromechanical products
used in cranes and material handling equipment.
Technical aptitude with the ability to explain complex products in simple terms.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Customer-centric approach with problem-solving mindset.
Ability to work independently as a residential engineer in the allocated region.
Willingness to travel extensively within the territory.
Qualifications & Experience:
Diploma / B.E. in Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical Engineering.
Experience in handling OEMs, end-users, and contractors in industrial markets.
