Job Description

Role Summary

:

The Techno-Sales Engineer is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, promoting HVAC products and solutions, providing technical expertise to clients, preparing proposals, and ensuring successful order closure. This role bridges technical knowledge with sales strategies to achieve business growth and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

:

Business Development & Sales

Generate leads, build client relationships, and pursue new projects in HVAC systems. Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and quotations. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients. Achieve sales targets set by management.

Technical Support & Solution Design

Understand client requirements and propose appropriate HVAC solutions. Assist in design calculations, equipment selection, and preparation of BOQ (Bill of Quantities). Work closely with design and project teams to ensure technical compliance. Conduct site visits for surveys, feasibility studies, and technical discussions.

Coordination & Documentation

Coordinate with vendors, consultants, and internal departments for technical clarifications. Prepare technical submittals, compliance statements, and tender documents. Follow up on project progress, billing, and payment collections in coordination with accounts.

Client Relationship Management

Provide after-sales support and resolve client queries. Build long-term relationships with contractors, consultants, and corporate clients. Represent the company at industry exhibitions, seminars, and networking events.

Key Skills Required

:

Strong knowledge of HVAC systems (Chillers, VRF, AHU, FCU, Ducting, Ventilation, etc.). Technical understanding of design, estimation, and BOQ preparation. Good communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD (basic), and CRM tools. Ability to handle multiple projects and clients simultaneously.

Qualification & Experience

:

Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field. 2-5 years of experience in HVAC sales, estimation, or technical support. Knowledge of local HVAC market, consultants, and contractors is preferred.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
