The ideal candidate will have a solid technical background along with strong marketing and communication skills to bridge the gap between engineering and commercial objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development:
Identify and develop new business opportunities across industrial sectors (Pharma, Chemical, Food, Manufacturing, etc.)
Visit potential clients, present Company's products and solutions, and understand customer needs.
Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining products and services.
Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
Technical Consultation:
Provide pre-sales technical assistance and product education & create Market Pull
Understand client applications and recommend suitable machinery and systems.
Coordinate with the design and production teams for customized solutions.
Quotation & Proposal Handling:
Prepare commercial and technical quotations based on customer requirements.
Follow up on submitted proposals and negotiate contracts to close deals.
Client Relationship Management:
Maintain long-term relationships with customers for repeat business.
Provide after-sales support and troubleshoot any product issues.
Market Intelligence:
Track competitor activity and market trends, their market share
Provide feedback to product development and marketing teams.
Gather data on Market sizing for Company products /potential
Key Skills & Competencies:
Strong technical knowledge of industrial machinery (Vacuum pumps, blowers, compressors, etc.)
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Ability to understand customer requirements and offer tailored solutions
Willingness to travel extensively for client visits
Proficient in MS Office, CRM tools, and report preparation
Good knowledge in English ( speaking & writing )
