Job Description

A Sales Representative for a kitchen equipment manufacturing company would be responsible for generating leads, building relationships with customers, presenting products and services, and closing sales. They would also handle after-sales support and contribute to the company's overall sales goals. Key Responsibilities:

Lead Generation and Prospecting:

Identifying potential customers, such as hotels, restaurants, and institutional kitchens, and developing strategies to reach them.

Sales Presentations and Demonstrations:

Educating potential customers about the features, benefits, and technical specifications of the company's kitchen equipment, including conducting live demonstrations of products.

Needs Assessment and Solution Selling:

Understanding the unique needs of each customer and recommending the most appropriate kitchen equipment solutions.

Negotiation and Contract Management:

Negotiating pricing, terms, and contracts with customers, and ensuring all sales agreements are finalized and executed.

Order Processing and Logistics:

Taking orders, ensuring timely delivery of products, and coordinating with the manufacturing and logistics teams.

After-Sales Support:

Providing technical support, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction with the purchased equipment.

Relationship Building and Maintenance:

Maintaining strong relationships with existing customers, and building new relationships with potential customers.

Sales Reporting and Forecasting:

Tracking sales performance, generating reports, and forecasting future sales trends.
Skills and Qualifications:

Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills:

Effective communication is crucial for building relationships and presenting products to customers.

Technical Knowledge of Kitchen Equipment:

A solid understanding of various types of kitchen equipment, including their features, benefits, and applications.

Sales Experience and Negotiation Skills:

Experience in sales, particularly in the commercial or industrial sector, is highly valued.

Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills:

The ability to identify and resolve customer issues and analyze sales performance.

Adaptability and Change Management:

The ability to adapt to changing market conditions and customer needs.

Computer Literacy:

Proficiency in using sales software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
Additional Skills:

Knowledge of AutoCad drawing and Microsoft Office. Ability to prepare sales tenders and quotations. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and delegation skills. Adaptability to change and a desire to make a difference.
