Job description Urgently looking to recruit 1-6years experienced competent Sales Engineer based in Navi Mumbai, Thane area. The ideal candidate is a self motivated, well-organized individual who has a deep understanding of prospecting and developing strong relationships with customers from Oil and Gas industry vertical and especially Reliance Industries and similar other companies. Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategies to drive business in new and existing markets. Experience in handling key account of Reliance Industries desired.
  • Responsible for direct selling of Integrated Gas, Fire and Flame Detection Systems to oil and gas industry and Infrastructure projects e.g. Railways, Chemical ports, LNG terminals etc.
  • 1-6 years hands on experience in selling Integrated Fire and Gas Detection Systems, Flame Detection System, Safety Instrumented System (SIS), Laboratory and Workshop Equipment, Wireless Gas detection system would be preferred.
  • To achieve Annual Sales Targets with the requisite margins to generate revenues for the Company.
  • To identify business opportunities and customers.
  • To participate effectively in technical and commercial meetings with the client and consultant and lead the process to the logical end of bagging the order from the client.
  • To Find out potential business areas/customers through various contacts/agents/media and assess the long-term and short-term growth of the market.
  • To develop contacts with prospective clients, consultants, major manufacturers of equipment, vendors. Benchmarks information with respect to competitors, market/industry trends for similar projects and develop strategy to win contracts.
  • To Work on the details of projects including technical, commercial, possible risks and mitigation of risks.
  • To collect information on site conditions, about available contractors, applicable taxes through own customer database, various contacts/hired consultants.
  • To take such deviations in which Company\'s interests can be better protected in the pre-bid stage.
  • To Prepare cost estimates and submit the bids after Management approval.
  • To attend pre - award/post-bid meetings for technical/commercial negotiations.
  • To Get the Orders from clients and hands over the Order with all documentation to the nominated PM for project execution.
Desired Candidate Education & Profile:
  • Diploma /Degree in Instrumentation or Electronics engineering OR B Sc in Instrumentation or Electronics stream with relevant experience can also apply.
  • Should be proficient in computer operations especially in MS Excel, Word and Power Point.
  • Candidates currently working in Fire & Gas Manufacturing companies, consultants or with System Integrator would be preferred.
  • Domain Knowledge of Safety Systems and Instrumentation and control systems, tendering including risk identification, evaluation, assessment and control.
  • Must have hands on experience in selling Gas, Fire, Smoke and Flame Detection Systems to Oil and Gas, Pipelines, Steel, Power, Fertilizer, Pharmaceutical industry projects. -----OR---- Experience in selling Safety system, Process Instruments, Control Systems to Oil & Gas industry, Power, Steel, Fertilizer, EPC companies and Consultants is desired.
  • Knowledge of market in respect of costs of various items, suppliers, contractors, potential customer and competition.
  • National and International exposure.
  • Excellent presentation and computer skills.
  • Proactive and good team player.
  • Readiness to travel all over India is essential.
  • Should able to understand customers application & offer best solutions to it.
Job Type: Full-time Salary: \xe2\x82\xb9300,000.00 - \xe2\x82\xb9550,000.00 per year Schedule:
