POSITION DETAILS

Position Summary

The Technical Sales Engineer provides inside sales support to international customers working with our CIRCOR Uxbridge team. This includes quote preparation, application of product selection, price and availability. They also provide technical assistance/support and value selection of products for application taking into consideration price and availability, consulting with engineering when required.

Principal Activities

• Prepares written quotations for international customers and representatives.
• Assists customer inquiries on order status, ship methods, tracking numbers, freight charges, pricing and availability.
• Has 2-4 years technical customer service experience in manufacturing support.
• Has a sound, in-depth understanding of concepts and principles in customer service.
• Be a technical resource and have the organizational agility to find answers and solve problems.
• Has a desire and ambition to grow into a larger role of responsibility.
• To perform this job successfully, an individual should have intermediate data entry skills and knowledge of Word and Excel software.
• Able to solve routine and complex problems using information sources provided, or by conceptual and innovative thinking, with or without supervision.
• Should be responsible for sizing and selection of Pneumatic Regulators, Stop Valves, Relief Valves, Non-return Valves, Filters and various other pressure related products.
• Should be able to train, guide and prepare Techno-commercial proposals; Should be able to provide technical support to the customers
• Knowledge of pneumatic valves and defense projects are preferable.
• Experience in independently handling customers/large accounts/ projects
• Experience in handling overseas customers
• Experience in working on KPI, Data Analysis

• Recommends product or service enhancements to improve customer\'s satisfaction and sales potential.
• Acts as Customers\' advocate within the organization and is accountable for Customer Satisfaction.
• Document sales and marketing activities along with tracking of opportunities.
• Self-starter, organized, thorough and meticulous, able to work under pressure.
• Experience in a technical environment
• Able to plan work and commit to meeting deadlines.
• Dedicated to high degree of accuracy.
• Proficient in Microsoft, Excel, and Access software.

Education & Experience

Education: Degree preferably in Mechanical Engineering
Valve, regulator, fluid mechanics/control related coursework/education will be additional qualification.

Experience: 5 + years of relevant experience in high pressure Pneumatic valve industry
