Technical Sales - Digital Solutions

We are seeking a Technical Sales Manager to lead digitalization initiatives in the metals industry. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical acumen and a consultative sales approach.

YOU ACT

Lead the sales process for digitalization solutions tailored to the metals industry (e.g., steel, aluminum, etc.).
Work with cross-functional teams to identify customer pain points & translate them into actionable digital solutions.
Develop and manage customer relationships - from initial outreach to post-sale engagement.
Prepare and deliver technical presentations, demos, technical proposals.
Prepare enquiry specifications for vendors, analyze technical feasibility of offers received from vendors.
Collaborate with product, engineering and implementation teams to customize solutions.
Track market trends & identify opportunities for strategic growth in the digitalization space.

YOU KNOW

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics or a related field).
3+ years of experience in technical sales or solution engineering -- ideally within industrial digitalization for metals industry.
Solid understanding of metals production processes and associated operational challenges.
Strong grasp of Condition Monitoring Systems, Manufacturing Execution Systems, Energy / Quality Management Systems, data analytics, industrial IoT platforms, etc.
Understanding of commercial terms & conditions
Excellent communication and customer-facing skills with a consultative mindset.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, global environment.
