Role Overview

We are seeking a

modern Project Manager

with strong expertise in Agile and Scrum methodologies to lead technology projects in the

Banking domain

. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in sprint planning, estimation, stakeholder management, and delivery oversight. A strong technical background in

Java, Angular, and mobile platforms

is highly desirable to effectively manage cross-functional teams and complex initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end delivery of projects within the Banking domain, ensuring alignment with business goals and timelines. Drive

Agile ceremonies

(sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, backlog grooming) and ensure smooth execution of sprints. Manage

estimation, scope, and sprint planning

to ensure predictable delivery. Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, and QA teams to align priorities and resolve roadblocks. Oversee project governance, risk management, and stakeholder communication. Track and report project progress, metrics, and outcomes to leadership. Ensure high-quality delivery across

Java, Angular, and mobile platform projects

. Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively. Foster a culture of collaboration, agility, and continuous improvement within the team.

Qualifications

10+ years of total IT experience with at least 5+ years as a Project Manager. Strong track record of delivering technology projects in the

Banking / Financial Services domain

. Expertise in

Agile and Scrum methodologies

; Agile certification (CSM, PMI-ACP, SAFe) preferred. Hands-on experience in

sprint planning, estimation, backlog management, and Agile metrics tracking

. Familiarity with technical stacks such as

Java, Angular, and mobile application platforms

. Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Agile/Scrum certifications (CSM, SAFe Agilist, PMI-ACP, or equivalent). Prior experience leading

digital transformation projects

in Banking or FinTech.
