Required competencies: Good understanding of Embedded Software Development in Automotive domain Good handle over Hardware, Hardware & Software Interface of a typical Automotive ECU Automotive system knowledge (ECU, Sensors, Software) and technical mindset Good knowledge of CMMI / ISO /ASPICE quality standards Soft Skills: An active team player with an uncanny ability to mentor and motivate large teams through leadership by content Experience in managing project stake holders from International /Inter-Cultural teams Excellent Communication and Interpersonal skills Decision making on project priorities, conflicts and requirements Hard Skills: Hands-on SW Project management experience in automotive domain. Preparation of Estimation, Effort and Budget Tracking, Customer Co-ordination, Scheduling, Defect Tracking, Metrics Reporting. Stake holder management Managing requirements and changes in the project On time and Quality delivery Additional (big plus) Skills: Working experience inBCT, iSolar AEEE Pro and Rhapsody Design Manager Working experience in Autosar Stack Configuration Working experience with Plant Interface and Production Release Activities Past Experience in handling multiple projects concurrently should have successfully handled at least 2-3 complete life cycle projects in the role of a Project Manager Experience in Automotive domain e.g.: Platform development with exposure to Low level drivers, Linux, Middleware components, system services Network protocols like CAN, LIN, FlexRay, UDS Added advantage if knows basic knowledge of multicore architecture Scripting knowledge (CAPL, Perl, Python, Batch files) Tool knowledge (CANalyzer, CANoe, UDE, CAN stress tool, CANdela Studio, CAN DIVA) Working proficiency in German language Profile Requirement: Plan and track progress and achieve results within the approved project schedules, estimated costs /efforts and quality plan. Guide/supervise/review/approve the team on \'Software engineering\' aspects of the project like Requirements, Change request handling, Design, Coding, Testing, Delivery and maintenance as applicable on ALM. Formulate, execute and track software development and variant management plan for multiple product lines delivering multiple variants based on no. of functions in HW and SW Estimate detailed SW development/delivery timeline and its schedule of costs Assign work to the resources and track estimated efforts vs project SW development costs. Track all commitments to customer and ensure that they are met. Escalate to Group/Program manager, issues such as An anticipated inability to meet agreed commitments Unreasonable demands from customer. Obtain acceptance from customer for the delivered work product. Report to the Group manager on the plan and progress of the project. Seek all resources from the group manager and ensure timely trainings (project specific) to all resources in the team. Agile mindset, Scrum master role PMP certified preferred Qualifications BTECH, MTECH Additional Information 8-12 years of experience in automotive embedded SW development with C (SW development, SW architecture, SW dev. tools) End-to-End Knowledge in Automotive domain High functional understanding, structured working method Very good communication skills
