We are looking for a Technical Project Manager who can seamlessly bridge the gap between technology and business. This role requires a strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and hands-on experience in Jira, Python, and Java to effectively manage projects, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality software solutions.
You will be responsible for driving multiple projects from inception to completion, managing risks, and implementing best practices for agile software development. Your ability to work closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders will be key to success in this role.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage software development projects using agile methodologies, ensuring efficient execution across all project phases.
• Utilize Jira for backlog management, sprint planning, and tracking development progress.
• Work closely with software engineers proficient in Python and Java, ensuring alignment with technical requirements.
• Define and oversee project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives.
• Drive technical discussions and provide guidance on best practices in SDLC, software architecture, and development processes.
• Identify risks, dependencies, and roadblocks while proactively implementing mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, QA, and operations, to ensure project alignment and success.
• Ensure continuous process improvements in project management methodologies and technical workflows.
• Generate project reports, metrics, and documentation for stakeholders and leadership teams.

• 5+ years of experience in technical project management within a software development environment.
• Strong expertise in Jira for project tracking and agile development.
• Hands-on experience in Python and Java, with the ability to understand and engage with technical teams.
• Deep understanding of SDLC and best practices in software engineering.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to anticipate challenges before they arise.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills to coordinate between technical and non-technical teams.
• Experience with Agile, Scrum, and Kanban methodologies.

• Experience working with cloud technologies (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and software deployment strategies.
• PMP, CSM, or other relevant certifications are a plus.
