to lead and manage the end-to-end delivery of AEM-based web and digital experience projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in AEM, combined with proven project management skills, stakeholder communication, and cross-functional leadership capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management & Delivery
Lead AEM project lifecycle from initiation to closure, ensuring timely delivery within budget and scope.
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, risk logs, status reports, and sprint plans.
Drive Agile/Scrum ceremonies - sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Ensure proper resource allocation and workload balancing across technical and functional teams.
Coordinate between development teams, UX/design, QA, DevOps, and client stakeholders.
Technical Oversight
Act as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders.
Review and understand AEM architecture, custom components, templates, workflows, and integrations.
Work closely with AEM Architects/Developers to ensure best practices, scalability, and code quality.
Facilitate technical discussions and ensure alignment on solutions and deliverables.
Client & Stakeholder Communication
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and internal leadership for project updates.
Proactively manage expectations, escalations, and communication at all levels.
Lead project status meetings and provide clear updates on progress, issues, and risks.
Quality, Compliance & Risk Management
Enforce quality assurance practices, including code reviews, testing, and release management.
Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies early in the project lifecycle.
Ensure adherence to security, performance, and accessibility standards in all AEM implementations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:Must-Have:
Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, IT, or related field.
8+ years of experience in software development and delivery.
2+ years of experience as a Technical Project Manager in AEM projects.
Strong understanding of AEM Sites, Assets, Workflows, and Headless capabilities.
Experience managing both onshore and offshore teams.
Expertise in Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban); Agile certification preferred (CSM/SAFe).
Proficiency with tools like JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, or similar.
Good to Have:
AEM Business Practitioner or Developer Certification.
Knowledge of Adobe Marketing Cloud and related tools (Target, Analytics, etc.).
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps tools, and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP).
Experience in managing third-party integrations (eCommerce, DAMs, CRMs, etc.).
Soft Skills:
Strong leadership and people management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
High attention to detail, problem-solving attitude, and a proactive mindset.
