Job Title: Sales Manager

Role Summary:
As a Senior Sales Manager specializing in Government, Smart City, and IoT (Internet of Things), you will
play a critical role in driving revenue growth by developing and executing strategic sales initiatives for
our organization. You will be responsible for identifying and capturing sales opportunities within
government agencies, municipalities, and organizations involved in smart city development and IoT
projects. Your primary focus will be on establishing and nurturing strong relationships with key
stakeholders, understanding their needs, and delivering tailored solutions to meet those needs.

  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant sales experience.
  • Experience in selling technology solutions to government entities and municipalities is highly
desirable.
  • Experience in building and leading sales teams is a plus.
Responsibilities:
Market Analysis and Strategy
  • Conduct in-depth research and analysis of the government, smart city, and IoT markets to
identify potential customers, trends, and competitive positioning.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies and tactics to penetrate these markets effectively.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align product development and marketing strategies
with market needs.
Customer Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with government agencies, municipalities, and key
decision-makers.
  • Understand customer pain points, challenges, and objectives to provide customized solutions.
  • Continuously engage with customers to ensure their satisfaction and identify upselling
opportunities.
Sales Execution
  • Identify and qualify sales opportunities and lead the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing
deals.
  • Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals tailored to the unique needs
of government and smart city clients.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing terms while adhering to company policies.
Collaboration and Coordination
  • Work closely with the product development team to stay updated on the latest IoT technologies
and solutions.
  • Collaborate with marketing and communication teams to develop marketing materials and
campaigns targeted at government and smart city segments.
Performance Tracking
  • Set clear sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitor progress towards
achieving them.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to senior management.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of sales strategies and make necessary adjustments.
Compliance and Documentation
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and contractual agreements.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and contracts.
Qualification
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (Master\'s degree preferred).
  • Proven track record of success in B2B sales, especially within the government, smart city, or IoT
sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of government procurement processes and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Familiarity with IoT technologies and solutions is a plus.
Base Location: Base Loc: Noida, WFH (Perm on hybrid)

Specialization Description

Technical Project Management requires specific technical knowledge to plan, organize, and control resources, procedures, and timing for a technical process or project including:
  • Developing detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports, conducting risk analysis and monitoring the progress of plans against project milestones and budgets
  • Providing technical and analytical guidance to the project team
  • Ensuring adherence to quality standards and review of project deliverables
  • Analyzing and documenting requirements by liaising with a range of users in the organization
  • On some projects, where applicable, manages the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables Specialization Match Note: Para-Professional incumbents update/maintain project schedules and associated resource plans and prepares progress reports. Para-Professional support may be in a Project Management Office (PMO) environment supporting multiple IT Projects.
Level Description

Typically leads a team of professional level or associate professional staff (typically developing or experienced level) in an organization unit (e.g. department/division). Setting the day-to-day operational objectives for the team. Applies a broad knowledge within a given job area facing typically difficult but not complex problems.
