JOB TITLE:

Piping Design

REPORTS TO:

Director - Engineering

JOB LOCATION:

Gurgaon, India

POSITION SUMMARY:

Candidate will be responsible for Piping Design of Technology Projects in association with KBR\xe2\x80\x99s Technology Business Unit at Houston

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

• Project / site experience of working in a variety of projects including grassroots, brownfield, and revamp types.
• Sound knowledge of all general piping design, developing experience in piping layout and phases of plot plan development
• Some experience in site-based design in support of construction
• Experienced and proficient in executing work using intelligent CAD systems like PDMS, E3D SP3D including AutoCAD MicroStation.
• Have detailed knowledge and proven application in all general piping design / layout aspects.
• Must be conversant in materials of construction, insulation and installed instruments commonly used.
• Have experience in more complex piping systems such as lined and jacketed pipe and the impact of material supply and fabrication on piping design.
• Deliver piping specific design and drafting services that meet KBR, the customers, and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Perform design and drafting assignments on projects while meeting project requirements on time and within budget.
• Communicate effectively with the piping team and project stakeholders.
• Establish and maintain good working relationships within KBR.
• Identify issues and problems, develop appropriate solutions, and ask for assistance when required.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Relevant experience of 5-10 years in Piping Design Engineer
• Graduate in B.Tech./ B.E.
• Comfortable in travelling for work.

KEY RELATIONSHIPS:

Manages key business relationships with clients and with Technology Business Unit

Managerial teams in India and Houston.
