Position Summary
PATH seeks a motivated public health professional to join its Health Systems Strengthening team. This role involves supporting the planning, coordination, and implementation of health systems initiatives, with a focus on integrating care for hemoglobinopathies into broader public health programs. The position offers an opportunity to work closely with government stakeholders, development partners, and technical teams to contribute to meaningful health system improvements. This is a full-time, contractual position on Third Party Payroll- Randstad for an initial period of 18 months, with the possibility of extension.
Key Responsibilities
Support the design and implementation of health systems strengthening activities, particularly around screening, diagnosis, and treatment of hemoglobinopathies.
Coordinate with national and state-level health authorities to align project activities with existing policies and programs.
Assist in organizing capacity-building initiatives for healthcare providers and frontline workers.
Facilitate collaboration with stakeholders including government agencies, academic institutions, and civil society organizations.
Contribute to the development of technical documents, reports, and presentations for internal and external audiences.
Provide guidance to junior staff and ensure timely delivery of project outputs.
Represent PATH in meetings and forums as needed, sharing project learnings and updates.
Qualifications and Experience
Postgraduate degree in Public Health, Health Policy, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
Atleast 7 years of experience in public health program implementation or health systems strengthening.
Familiarity with India's health system, including primary care, referral mechanisms, and government health programs.
Experience working with government stakeholders and development partners.
Strong communication, coordination, and documentation skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
