The Marketing Engineer will be responsible for promoting Rocksensor India's products and solutions, generating business leads, supporting the sales team, and developing market presence across industrial, infrastructure, water, and monitoring sectors. The role combines
technical knowledge with marketing and customer engagement
.
Key Responsibilities
Promote and market
sensors, transmitters, field instruments, and monitoring solutions
to customers, consultants, and EPC contractors.
Identify and develop
new business opportunities, leads, and key accounts
across assigned regions or sectors.
Conduct
product presentations, demonstrations, and technical discussions
with clients.
Support the sales team in
pre-sales activities
, including technical clarifications and solution positioning.
Prepare and maintain
marketing materials
such as brochures, presentations, case studies, and product literature.
Coordinate with
proposal, engineering, and project teams
for smooth conversion of enquiries into orders.
Carry out
market research
to identify competitors, pricing trends, and customer requirements.
Participate in
trade shows, exhibitions, seminars, and client meetings
.
Maintain regular follow-ups with customers to build long-term relationships.
Prepare
weekly/monthly activity reports
, lead trackers, and sales forecasts.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in
Engineering
(Instrumentation / Electrical / Mechanical / Electronics or related discipline).
1-2 years
of experience in technical/ digital marketing of
industrial products, instrumentation, or engineering solutions
.
Experience in
process industries, industrial automation, or monitoring systems
will be an added advantage.
Skills & Competencies
Strong technical understanding of
industrial sensors and field instruments
.
Good
communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
.
Ability to explain
technical concepts in a simple and customer-friendly manner
.
Proficiency in
MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Digital Marketing Tools, SEOs, SMOs, etc.
Willingness to travel upto 25% of time within assigned territory.
