The Technical Manager in this position will be managing a high performing team of qualified and experienced professionals to deliver SAP Access Management Services including Operations and Project Related work. Primarily responsible for Service Delivery, People Management and Process compliance of a Global service delivered to one or multiple Business Regions ensuring service continuity. Contribute to developing and execute the local strategy for delivering a service in alignment with the Global IT strategy.

Making an impact. What will you do?
In the area of service delivery, you will be responsible for delivery of global SAP Access Services with ownership and accountability, this includes delivery of ongoing IT and/or Business Projects, apart from regular baseline support and enhancement activities, special focus on S/4 HANA authorizations including FIORI
Accountability for delivery of a global service or part of a global service delivered across all regions or certain specific regions, reporting to the Service Owner
You will be the point of Contact and representative of the Service and team that provides the service
The role has a matrix reporting relationship with Functional Manager for Service-related responsibilities and Team Head for local, people management & development activities
Key for you is to understand of customer expectations and impact of service issues
Maintain good relationship and manage expectations of the Customers while being able to deliver agreed expectations
Collaborating relationship with other team managers and staff, located inside as well as outside the Centre
You will be responsible for Work planning, Resource allocation and Effective reporting of the Service and the
team on an ongoing basis
Working with Service Provider resources and Third-Party vendors, required to deliver the service where relevant
Contributing to developing the local strategy and help execute the strategy for delivering a service in alignment with the global IT strategy from the Centre, builds commitment to strategic direction
Responsibility to provide SAP user-based license measurement for both, SAP initiated measurement and internal recharging, and also for selection, hiring, development and retention of talent
Facilitating and developing team members to work effectively as part of the Global team
You will be conducting timely performance reviews, training need assessments, IDPs, etc and ensuring completion of development targets for teams and/or re-evaluation from time-to-time as required
Responsibility for retaining key talent, knowledge management and performance management of under performers
To ensure alignment of team-members to the Global teams and build a motivated, high performing team
Also to ensure process adherence and Compliance to Linde procedures & policies, and you must have the ability to think, plan and execute within defined policies and objectives
Additionally, you will be responsible for defining new processes, standards, addressing process gaps and modifying existing processes depending on the needs of the service
You should have ability to deal with process exceptions effectively - showing flexibility, good judgement, service orientation and risk management
Also, Identifying opportunities for process improvement, harmonization and Globalization
Winning in your role. Do you have what it takes?
You must have a degree or equivalent from a reputed institute
Certification in SAP Access, Security & Authorization technology or process area would be preferred
You should have overall 8-12 years of relevant IT experience working with reputed companies
Also, a must is to have 3-5+ years of experience in people management
Experience in managing offshore teams, handling delivery responsibilities, coordinating directly with business managers, handling escalations etc
Also, experience in working in a matrix organization and managing medium to large scale offshore development Centre / projects
